Format: Live Stream Workshop (Closed caption available)
Dates: 3 Saturdays, October 4, 11, & 18 (15 hours total, 3 paintings)
Time: 1:00 to 6:00 PM ET (The class may extend longer)
Where: Online from the comfort of your home.
You do not have to attend the sessions live. Everything gets recorded.

All final paintings will be vastly improved compared to the reference photos below.

OIL BRUSHES: Brights: 2, 4, 6 ,8, 10 and a small tip round for thin lines

OIL PAINTS: Yellow Ochre Pale, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red Medium, Transparent Red Oxide or Burnt Sienna, Viridian, Prussian Blue, Dioxazine Violet, Sap Green, Indian Red, Emerald Green Hue, Phthalo Yellow Green, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Lamp Black, White

WATERCOLOR BRUSHES: ¾ inch bright, ½ inch bright, ¼ inch bright, Round #6, Synthetic riggers, sizes 1, 4, & 6, 1-inch Chip brush (such as what they sell at Michaels and other craft or hardware stores), Credit card cut to different sizes, Medium and coarse sandpaper sheets

WATERCOLOR PALETTE: Winsor and Newton Artist’s Quality. Other brands are fine as long as they are professional quality.

Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna or Transparent Oxide Brown, Transparent Yellow, Permanent Rose, Hooker’s Green, Winsor Violet, Payne’s Gray, Prussian Blue, Graham Permanent Green Pale

PAPER: For most Arches Cold Pressed 140 lb. I buy full sheets and cut them into two parts. Watercolor blocks are also handy. For dominant foliage scenes Rough paper, Jackson’s : Porcelain Palette with Cover : 19 Well

Pastels (soft pastels)- You can never have too many. They are like collector’s items which artists keep adding. Some students find good deals on EBAY or Facebook Market Place.  I recommend starting out with Paris Sennelier and the Rembrandt Landscape set.

Paper -Use paper that has grit or known as sanded.
