A walk in nature can be a great way to clear the mind when we feel overwhelmed and overloaded. That’s what this drawing is all about. Simplifying a scene that seems overwhelmingly packed with information. I don’t often use a straight-edge, but I’ll also show you my process for using one while maintaining life and energy in the drawing. Let’s get going! Youtube pushed this clip to me. I tried and really enjoyed it
I enjoyed drawing this boardwalk a lot. I used a ruler, obviously!!!
This is another one I really enjoyed. My perspective is a bit off, but I am getting there. Thank you, Scott!
Working on the cat drawing now and feel the technique to drawing the reeds is similar to drawing the fur
Loved drawing this!
Thank you ,Jaci ! ?
I think I left too little room between end of the path and the tree line. Feel like I need more reeds covering the end but they would be too big that close to the trees. Thanks so much for doing these videos.
Here’s my drawing of the walk path. I could have spent a lot longer on the reeds but…..
This was a really enjoyable class. Thanks!
This was fun!
Wow…I love it!
This is what I did in 1hour and 25 minutes.
I thought it would be intimidating as well but it was actually fun.
Thanks Scott for breaking down the drawing in a common sense way.
Reminds me of a special place in Florida.
I want to go there right now!
This was fun, and not as intimidating as I first thought! I think it came out well.
