    Scott, I loved your suggestion to start from the center of the form….now if I can only remember it! Please review ‘paying attention to the direction of the marks in the cast shadow’. Thanks again.

    Very Interesting session. Simple subject but, not so simple drawing, because of abstract forms despite realistic photo of the subject. Charcoal Strathmore, laid finished paper. 14X18, vine charcoal, 2B, 6B charcoal pencils.

    There is more to the eye when drawing a piece of pie! Another fun session. Hopefully draftmanship is improving. Drawn on Strathmore Charcoal paper laid finish, 64 lbs, 9 x 12, using Staedtler Mars Luminograph 100 series, 2B, 3B and 4B, kneaded eraser.
