So went back to work and miss my afternoons sketching with all of you but still will sketch along with the videos.
Like the blend of structures and rocks. Could use some work. Thanks.
I like the rocks. The buildings not so much.
Amazing work!
Looks like beautiful scenery and you have captured it so well! The patience you must have in placing all those trees, and the sky is brilliant.
Lighthouse. Not too thrilled with the rocks but decided to post it anyway.
12 x 18. Used a 6B pencil and the kneaded eraser and the sandpaper graphite.
I did my own landscape instead ,recently working in “Plein aire” for the first time at Rocky Mountain National Park . I really enjoyed it, but had to finish last half at home. I may do this light house later though…I’m not keen on drawing buildings but everyone did so well- makes me want to try it!
Really beautiful!
Wow this is so GOOD!
Challenging but fun,
Very nice exercise in drawing. How does one draw from the mind and not from a photo or object?
This was an interesting one. here’s my take.
This was enjoyable. I know my darks need to be darker but as you say finish it to your liking. It is the draw that teaches.
This was a doozy!
I enjoyed the challenge
Thanks

I almost passed on this one, and I’m so glad I stuck with it! By the time we got to the foreground, I started rushing to complete it for some reason. I think I should have just put it aside for a bit, watched the rest of Scott’s demo, then picked it back up later. But I’m pretty happy overall.
Now this was a challenge but I enjoyed it completely. Really liked drawing the structures, but not too keen on drawing the plants and rocks… but I gave it a go anyways. Thanks Scott for another great Drawing Together Session…. keep the fun challenges coming. 🙂
