My drawing
Wonderful work, Pia!
Finally posting! Nice feet, Scott…
Feet
This was instructive. I had drawn my own foot from life just for fun but the perspective I had to use looked crazy. Sometimes drawing from a picture really gives time to get the proper form down. Thanks for teaching us to SEE objects.
Here is the correct image of my foot drawing.
By mistake I attached incorrect jpg file with drawing of the feet. Attached is the correct one.
Hello from CT. Not long ago I discovered this great Live stream, and started to watch recorded episodes drawing some of the subjects using Scott’s reference photos. I already participated in live stream of drawing arm. The feet were next. Started them, put them aside and completed the next day. That was a good move allowing me to notice mistakes I made originally, especially with the left foot. The top of the page looks a bit weird, but it is because above the feet there is drawing of the arm. Both on the same page. Thank you Scott, the sessions are enjoyable and I learned some new tips from you.
I think I’ve drawn more pet’s feet than human. So the practice is good.
Wow, this was a challenge! I used gray toned paper, but I like working with it. It didn’t look right until I put white charcoal highlights in though. I had to tone down my values a bit… I got a little heavy handed. This was my first time with an ebony pencil. I am really going to miss these classes twice a week.!! I remember when it was 3x a week. It has been such an inspiration!!
First time ever drawing feet. Thank you, Scott!
Feet are really, really difficult!
Had fun doing your feet Scott… I find feet really interesting as well as amazing cause of all the abuse they receive (carrying us around and in shoes etc). Thanks for another great drawing together session…….. presenting Scott’s feet 🙂
Hi Paul. There are no plans to charge for these Drawing Together episodes at this point.
Thank you for posting this. It looks great!
I’m so sorry to hear about your home! I hope you and your family are OK. Thank you for sharing this drawing. It looks great!
This looks great! I’m glad you shared this.
This one was really hard, and I’m reluctant to even post my drawing. But it was a great learning experience so I’ll go ahead
Our home burned in the CA fires, so now I only have a regular pencil and kneaded eraser, but I pulled it through OK. Awesome project! Thanks again, Scott!
Great class, as always. Ebony pencil in sketch book.
