this episode is Part of the Drawing Together live video series – learn more here
Here’s my take on a classic subject: eggs! This is a great way to gain control over values and study the effect of light and shadow. If you’ve been putting this off, there are no excuses now! Set up your own still life, or follow along using this reference image: https://bit.ly/2JktYfq

The size of the eggs are off but I learned a lot…thanks!
This is a little further back…
This exercise helped so much with value and perspective.
Tried charcoal paper. Too much texture for me. Liked the wood grain. Wonder if eggs have too much of an outline
So….mice are a bit…who knows..not very eggish, but if anyone has a different veggie or fruit they might look like, I’ll take that and run! HA!
This is kind of small to see but I think you did a great job…I can’t decide if mine look more like potatoes or mangoes! HA! Either way they don’t look much like eggs!
This is the first one I did from your events.
