Here’s the drawing
So hard to get the correct angles and proportions. I erased it all and put it aside for awhile. I’m happy with it now. Thank you for such a clear explanation of perspective!
enjoyed sketching this
Hi Smruti. If I may share my comments. Verygood jog with light source and direction. As to shading, all I would do is go one level darker in value on all the right facing parts of the barn and extend the dark barn shadow on the ground further back (it appears too rounded). Hope you don’t mind comments from a fellow learner….
Hello Scott. Thank you for the vidéo. Tried to get closer and set the barn at dusk or later. Realized the graphite i was using had difficulty in the value range. Really enjoy these!!!!

Hello Scott
I’m uploading two older sketches here because I was a bit behind with the program. I hope it doesn’t matter.
Kind regards Pia
Here is my barn:
Dear Scott,
thank you for recording the session. I really enjoyed the barn.
Again thank you very much.
Kind regards Pia
Hi Scott! Here is my barn. Glad to see the series is still running. Your tips are always very helpful.
I know the drawing is not correct but please can I have input for the shading?
