Description
Follow along as master artist John Bayalis shows you step-by-step how to paint four amazing highly realistic watercolor paintings. Through these exercises, you’ll learn fundamental skills you can apply to your own work, setting you up for a lifetime of successful painting. You’ll start by exploring fundamental color theory concepts through the painting of a single piece of dramatically lit fruit. Next, you’ll paint a beautiful evening beach scene with fireworks, using this image to explore best practices for working with photo references. A painting of stones & sand follows, in which you practice easy techniques for creating texture. Finally, put it all together into a luminous floral still life. You’ll walk away from this course having painted 4 beautiful images and with the skills necessary to apply these concepts to any subject.
What You’ll Learn

- Use the qualities of watercolor for maximum effect, delivering rich colors and bright lights.
Student Testimonials:
John is the BEST! It’s a great experience taking watercolor lessons from a Master Artist & teacher. ~ Maggie L.
Well done – I wish we had the real photo to work from rather than a photo of his finished painting – sometimes I want to SEE what he sees, rather than copy his work…but overall – excellent. ~ Diane S.
